Users often struggle with fraudulent profiles and feel disconnected from apps that don't prioritize their specific geographic and cultural context, leading to a breakdown in meaningful digital connections.
The Solution
DRC Love establishes an 'Authenticity First' ecosystem by implementing a mandatory phone verification system exclusive to the DRC (+243). The UX is tailored to showcase cultural interests, allowing users to bond over local hobbies like 'Marathon' or 'Cuisine'. The design uses a premium, high-contrast pink-to-purple gradient palette that evokes modern romance while maintaining a clean, minimalist layout that ensures the focus remains on personal connection and safety.
